Before we begin our 1st session we will have Alma verify your benefits.
Marketplace & HMO Plans
- Coverage for Marketplace plans and HMOs varies significantly by individual network. Most I have to individually apply towards.
- Some plans require pre-authorization before the first session.
- Currently I can only accept some plans in Oklahoma (soon IL)
Your actual cost per session depends on your specific insurance plan (deductibles, copays, or coinsurance). I recommend verifying your benefits prior to our initial consultation.
Questions for Your Insurance Provider
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Note on Insurance
Many insurance plans allow a copay for mental health services without requiring you to meet your deductible first. That's why I suggest calling the customer service number on your card—so that's positive news!
